Clinic Services
Our comprehensive cardiac and respiratory services include ECG, TMT, Holter monitoring, ABPM, and echocardiograms for precise heart diagnostics. For pulmonary health, we offer PFTs to assess lung function. With a focus on outpatient care, our OPD ensures prompt consultations and treatments. Our array of services ensures thorough examinations and monitoring, empowering patients with accurate diagnoses and effective management plans.
OPD (Outpatient Department)
This is a department within a hospital or clinic where patients receive medical consultations, diagnosis, and treatment without being admitted to the hospital. OPD services are typically provided for a wide range of medical conditions and specialties.
ECG (Electrocardiogram)
An ECG is a non-invasive test that measures the electrical activity of the heart. Electrodes are placed on the skin, and the machine records the heart's electrical impulses, producing a graph (the electrocardiogram) that shows the heart's rhythm and electrical activity. It helps diagnose various heart conditions, such as arrhythmias, heart attacks, and heart disease.
TMT (Treadmill Test)
Also known as a stress test or exercise ECG, a TMT involves monitoring the heart's activity while the patient exercises on a treadmill or stationary bicycle. It helps diagnose heart conditions such as coronary artery disease by evaluating how the heart responds to physical stress.
Holter Monitor
A Holter monitor is a portable device that continuously records the heart's electrical activity (ECG) over a period of 24 to 48 hours, or even longer. Patients wear the device while they go about their daily activities. It helps diagnose intermittent heart rhythm abnormalities that may not be detected during a standard ECG.
ABPM (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring)
ABPM involves wearing a portable device that automatically measures and records blood pressure at regular intervals (usually every 15-30 minutes) over a 24-hour period, providing a comprehensive profile of a patient's blood pressure throughout the day and night. It's particularly useful for diagnosing and managing hypertension and assessing the effectiveness of treatment.
PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)
PFT is a group of tests that measure how well the lungs are functioning. It assesses lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange. Common PFTs include spirometry, which measures how much air a person can inhale and exhale and how quickly they can exhale, and lung diffusion tests, which measure how effectively oxygen is transferred from the lungs into the bloodstream.
Echocardiogram (Echo)
Echocardiography is a non-invasive test that uses sound waves (ultrasound) to create images of the heart. It provides valuable information about the heart's structure, function, and blood flow. Echocardiograms can help diagnose various heart conditions, such as heart valve problems, heart muscle abnormalities, and congenital heart defects.
